La campaña «Tiempo de igualdad«, es una iniciativa de la Asociación Silueta X, que surge debido a la falta de acciones concretas en Ecuador, a favor de la población sexo genéricamente diferente.

Nuestra campaña esta enfocada al cambio estructural y paradigmático, que afecta a las poblaciones LGBTI, a través de las posturas conservadoras y fundamentalistas que no permiten el progreso de los derechos humanos.

Salud, empleo educación y justicia, son cuatros aspectos básicos que gozan aquellos que se ajustan a las normas hegemónicas de esta sociedad, y que son restadas para aquellos que nos salimos de esa rigidez y demostramos ser diferentes…

Como sociedad civil, hemos tomado la iniciativa para impulsar cambios estructurales, haciendo incidencia política y acuerdos con las diferentes instituciones del estado, así como los actores sociales que se vean implícito en este cambio.

A esta iniciativa se nos ha sumado un sin número de organizaciones y quizá lo mas innovador, es que no todas son organizaciones LGBT, si no también organizaciones feministas y otras con temáticas diversas, alejadas de los temas de sexualidad, pero cercana a nuestras luchas activistas.

Esta campaña nacional no hubiese sido posible sin el aporte de nuestros auspiciadores: Mama Cash, amfAR e Hivos.

Les invito a vivir a través de nuestras acciones, una realidad que la historia condenara a sus actores principales de oposición, con quienes estamos en pie de lucha, pero así mismo elogiara, a quienes lo dimos todo, para que las próximas generaciones, puedan disfrutar… lo que a nosotros se nos arrebato.

The campaign «Es tiempo de Igualdad», is an initiative of the Association Silueta X, which arises due to the lack of concrete actions in Ecuador, for sex population generically different.
