Prostitución Transexual – Estudio

Uno de los estereotipos a los que se nos asocia a las trans femeninas, es el hecho de realizar trabajo sexual y prostitución. Sin importar lo positivo o negativo que sea, este estudio no está sujeto a brindar juicios de valores, basados en los prototipos moralistas de esta sociedad hegemónica.

Este estudio analiza, que tan cierto son los prejuicios sociales a los que se les asocia a la transexualidad, de una forma frívola sin analizar a profundidad que factores son los que influyen, para la continuidad de este estereotipo. Cabe mencionar que no existe un estudio específico sobre el trabajo sexual de las trans femeninas en el Ecuador como el presente, que pretende presentar datos cuantitativamente como cualitativamente, para un mejor panorama sobre la situación de la población trans.

Esta recopilación de datos, podrá ser la base para cualquier otro objeto de estudio o propuesta con la cual se pueda obtener una línea de estadística sobre las condiciones de vida de la población trans, y la que en su mayoría realiza trabajo sexual, ya sea abierta o clandestinamente. Así mismo, el presente documento puede ser utilizado para la reestructuración del estereotipo, no para justificar prejuicios moralistas sociales, sino más bien, para abrir un abanico de oportunidades para la población trans, de la cual ha sido relegada incluso del sistema de supervivencia común.

Posiblemente pasen varias generaciones hasta que esta sociedad que limita, excluye, margina e impone un tipo de binarismo social, para que las personas trans podamos ser no solo aceptadas, si no valoradas por el simple hecho de respirar el mismo aire que cualquiera… es sencillo leerlo pero para muchos Cisgéneros-Hetero-Normados es difícil llevarlo a la práctica. Y en efecto, la mayoría no son culpables, pero el desconocimiento no es justificado, y ese es el motivo del presente estudio, dar a conocer.

Les invito a ver la realidad de las chicas trans en Ecuador, pero no solo a ser sujetos espectadores, si no a participar activamente en la construcción de una sociedad humanista, incluyente y equitativa.

Transexual Prostitution – Study

One of the stereotypes with which we are associated to female trans, is the fact that sex work and prostitution. No matter how positive or negative it is, this study is not subject to providing value judgments based on moral prototypes of this hegemonic society.

This study analyzes how true are the social prejudices that are associated with transsexuality, in a frivolous no depth analyze influencing factors are, for the continuation of this stereotype. It is worth mentioning that there is no specific study on sex work of trans women in Ecuador such as this, which aims to present data quantitatively and qualitatively, to a better overview of the situation of trans people.

This data collection will be the basis for any other object of study or proposal with which to obtain a line of statistics on the lives of trans people, and that mostly makes sex work, either open or clandestinely. Also, this document can be used to restructure the stereotype, not to justify social moralistic prejudices, but rather, to open a range of opportunities for trans people, which has been relegated even common survival system.
