DIANE RODRIGUEZ: ECUADOR VIVE UN MOMENTO INCLUSIVO LUEGO DE LA CONSTITUCIÓN DE 2008 

Diane Rodríguez, presidenta de la Asociación Silueta X, y representante del Observatorio LGBTI de Ecuador estuvo en nuestros estudios en Guayaquil. Rodríguez dijo que su colectivo vive un momento coyuntural y de quiebre, como lo vivieron antes sectores discriminados como los afros o las mujeres. Rodríguez consideró que Ecuador vive un momento inclusivo luego de la Constitución de 2008, ahora se considera crimen de odio a la homofobia, es legal la unión de hecho entre personas del mismo sexo, se ha avanzado en el respeto a los derechos humanos en general. La lucha es ahora para lograr reformas en el Registro Civil en materia de identidad de género, el sexo y género no siempre coinciden aclaró Diane Rodríguez.

\»Una lucha a la vez\», recomendó Diane Rodríguez a los miembros del colectivo LGBTI. Otros pasos como el matrimonio entre personas del mismo sexo, o la adopción, tienen más trecho que recorrer y terminan dispersando esfuerzos.

Diane Rodríguez llamó finalmente a terminar con el bullying social contra las personas que no son heterosexuales. Rodríguez dio cuenta de la campaña “Tiempo de Igualdad” que impulsa el colectivo LGBTI

DIANE RODRIGUEZ: ECUADOR INCLUSIVE LIVING AFTER A WHILE THE CONSTITUTION OF 2008
