FORO: “REFORMAS A LA LEY DE REGISTRO CIVIL, NO LLEVAN AL MATRIMONIO IGUALITARIO”
La asambleísta Paola Pabón por Delegación de la Comisión de Gobiernos Autónomos, Descentralización, Competencias y Organización del Territorio, participa hoy en el Foro: “REFORMAS A LA LEY DE REGISTRO CIVIL, NO LLEVAN AL MATRIMONIO IGUALITARIO”, evento que se realiza en la ciudad de Guayaquil.
El debate se realiza con Diane Rodriguez, de la Asociación Silueta X; Elizabeth Vasquez, de CONFETRANS y Jhoana Izurieta de Construyendo Igualdad.
La Comisión de Gobiernos Autónomos y Descentralizados viene analizando y trabajando en una reforma a la Ley de Registro Civil, Identificación y Cedulación desde el año pasado, y es importante hacer algunas explicaciones con el propósito que evitar la descontextualización de los temas que se han discutido y planteando en dicha reforma.
Estamos convencidas que es un momento histórico para el país, por lo que la propuesta de cambiar el SEXO POR EL GÉNERO EN LA CÉDULA DE IDENTIDADes una legítima demanda que busca garantizar el reconocimiento de los derechos que se manifiestan en nuestra constitución como el derecho a la identidad de género, hacer efectiva la igualdad y eliminar cualquier forma de discriminación que se cometan contra las personas o ciudadanos ecuatorianos que por su opción de género han sido discriminadas (os).

FORUM: «AMENDMENTS TO THE LAW OF CIVIL REGISTRATION, NO LEAD TO MARRIAGE EQUAL»

The Government Commission Autonomous and Decentralized been analyzing and working on an amendment to the Civil Registration Act and Identification from last year, and it is important to do some explaining in order to avoid the contextualization of the issues that have been discussed and pose in this reform.
