Joven lesbiana reaparece luego de tres meses

Luego de aproximadamente tres meses de estar desaparecida, la noche del pasado jueves se volvió a saber de la joven Sara Solórzano, después  de una extensa difusión de este hecho por medio de las redes sociales.

La manabita se identifica como homosexual y habría sido asilada por su familia en una clínica de rehabilitación para intentar cambiar su orientación sexual.

Sin embargo, su hermano Manuel, asambleísta alterno de Alianza PAIS en Manabí, desmintió rotundamente este hecho. “Mi familia no ingresó a Sarita por el tema de su orientación sexual, sino por otros asuntos relacionados con adicciones. Ella tenía una mala calidad de vida y salió de la clínica porque cumplió su tiempo de rehabilitación. Nunca fue a la fuerza, eso es totalmente falso”, manifestó.

Según dijo, los comentarios que se han hecho públicos por internet, buscan desprestigiarlo a él y a su familia. “Yo defenderé siempre el prestigio de mis padres. Con estos rumores malintencionados se los acusa de algo que no ha ocurrido”, indicó Manuel Solórzano.

Karen Barba, directora ejecutiva de la organización Acción Lésbica  Feminista Causana, con sede en Quito, indicó que tuvieron noticias de Sara cuando ella llamó a una de sus amigas para avisarle que se encontraba en Portoviejo.

Desde el pasado 11 de abril la joven fue reportada ante las autoridades como desaparecida en el trayecto de Baños a Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas, “donde recibió la llamada de su padre, el Señor Manuel S., para concretar una cita con el odontólogo”, relata la Asociación Silueta X en un correo difundido a los medios de comunicación.

El 12 de abril fue la última vez que sus amistades escucharon de ella… Sara llamó a una de sus amigas indicando que sus padres iban a internarla en el Hospital Psiquiátrico Julio Endara, de Conocoto (Quito).

En tanto las allegadas a la chica buscaron ayuda en Causana para confirmar su paradero en esa casa de salud, contó Barba. “Cuando fuimos a pedir información sobre Sara, ya no estaba ahí”.

La Defensoría del Pueblo indicó que Causana puso la denuncia para que se otorgue el hábeas corpus a la joven y pudiera ser liberada.

Al inicio “la petición fue desestimada por la jueza Kena Freile, del Juzgado Decimonoveno de lo Civil de Manabí, quien sin tomar en cuenta todos los elementos de juicio, desestimó la solicitud y remitió la búsqueda a la Sub-jefatura de la Policía Judicial de la Provincia de Manabí”, informa Silueta X.

La Defensoría logró finalmente que la Corte Provincial de Manabí les concediera en segunda instancia el hábeas corpus, la última semana de junio.

De acuerdo a información proporcionada por el fiscal Fabián Salazar -quien lleva el caso de Sara-, al momento se analiza la situación de la joven de 26 años, quien ingresaría al Programa de Protección de Víctimas y Testigos, para garantizar su integridad.

El pasado 17 de julio la ministra de Salud, Carina Vance, y varios  representantes de la Fiscalía, manifestaron que combatirán a quienes permitan la violación de derechos humanos en clínicas de rehabilitación que en muchas ocasiones suelen ser clandestinas.

La titular de la cartera de Estado indicó que el MSP otorga permisos “para el tratamiento adecuado y bajo estándares internacionales del uso problemático de drogas y alcohol”, mas no para que se brinde curaciones a temas generados por prejuicios a grupos sociales, como fue el caso de Zulema Constante, joven guayaquileña que fue recluida en un centro de rehabilitación en Tena y que logró escapar luego de 2 semanas de encierro.

Respecto al caso de Sara, el MSP indicó que al momento no se pronunciará sobre el tema, porque se trata de un trabajo intersectorial. Sara es artista en formación y se dedica a la pintura.
