“Me gustaría trabajar en la televisión”

Jade Faleisha León Martínez, con apenas 23 años, es la actual Reina de Guayaquil Trans y se alista para llevarse la corona de Miss Ecuador dentro de dos años.
La trans, de tez bronceada y voz sensual, estudió hasta segundo año de comunicación social. En sus planes está retomar sus estudios y terminar la carrera, porque le gustaría trabajar en la televisión.
Como activista de la fundación Silueta X, Jade capacita a miembros de la comunidad Glbti (Gays, lesbianas, bisexuales, transexuales e intersexuales) sobre prevención de enfermedades de transmisión sexual y da charlas en diferentes entidades del país. “También las doy en Guayaquil, en las discotecas”, indicó.
Cree que hace falta concienciar más a la sociedad para terminar con la discriminación. “Todavía se siente el rechazo de la gente. Es dura la vida para una chica trans, creo que nadie debe juzgarnos”, comentó.
“Anhelo en el futuro tener mi academia de modelaje, canto y locución. Siempre he estado ligada al arte”, señaló.

TRANQUILA Y CARISMÁTICA
“Me considero tranquila, seria, carismática y sincera. Soy muy dinámica”, manifestó. Para subsistir, Jade realiza shows artísticos nocturnos en algunas discotecas de la zona rosa imitando a artistas internacionales como a Jennifer López.
“El costo de la presentación varía, de acuerdo al personaje. A veces cobro cincuenta dólares, en otros casos ciento cincuenta”, dijo.

SUS VIVENCIAS
Jade no tiene problemas para hablar de su vida sentimental. Recuerda que desde los 13 años  sintió preferencia por los chicos de su mismo sexo, “pero no lo demostré hasta que conocí a mi primera pareja, con quien duré tres años. A los 15 supe lo que es perder a alguien que amas. Mi pareja murió en un accidente de tránsito”, explicó triste.

“MI FAMILIA ES  DE MENTE ABIERTA”
“Al principio, cuando le confesé a mi madre sobre mi orientación sexual se sintió un poco mal, pero posteriormente me aceptó. Tengo una familia de mente abierta”, señala orgullosa.
Actualmente vive con su madre, “soy la tercera de mis hermanos”, contó.
Esta joven Glbti no es partidaria de las operaciones de cambio de sexo, porque cree que se trata de intervenciones riesgosas y no necesarias. “Para someterse a una intervención de estas hay que pensarlo bien”, manifestó.
Jade no se ha puesto silicona en su cuerpo, pero hace unos años se puso hormonas femeninas. “Mi madre dice que la belleza de la mujer no está en lo físico, sino en los sentimientos, y en la forma como los expresas ante la gente”, comenta la joven.
La reina trans confiesa que todavía le preocupa cómo piensa la sociedad acerca de las personas Glbti, por lo que propone que las campañas de concienciación deben ser permanentes para erradicar este concepto negativo en las personas.

TIENE NOVIO
En la actualidad tiene novio, un chico de veinte años, quien la acompaña a todas partes.
“Creo que todavía soy muy joven para casarme,   necesito a mi lado una persona que esté segura de querer formar un hogar, quiero a alguien que esté conmigo hasta mi vejez y me valore por lo que soy. No creo en el príncipe azul, eso solo existe en los cuentos de hadas”, concluyó.

Jade has no problem talking about her love life .
