Sweet & Coffee iniciará investigaciones por supuesto discrimen a transgéneros.

La cadena de cafeterías Sweet & Coffee informó, por medio de un comunicado, que iniciarán investigaciones en torno al supuesto discrimen hacia dos transgéneros que fueron despedidas de la empresa, días después de haberse presentado a la fiesta de Navidad vestidas como mujeres.

En el comunicado se refieren a un video en el que se muestra cómo a Zully García (Juan) no se le permite el ingreso a la celebración. La funcionaria que impide su entrada alegaba que el nombre que estaba en la lista era de un hombre, no de una mujer como él fue vestido. «Esto es una falta de respeto para nosotros», expresó. 

Briana Bustamante (Jefferson) también fue expulsada de su trabajo. Asimismo, fue vestida como mujer a la celebración navideña.

Según el comunicado, Sweet & Coffee no comparte «la forma en la que fue manejada la situación en particular». Indica que la funcionaria fue amonestada y que se tomarán los «correctivos internos del caso».

«Reiteramos nuestras disculpas a quienes se sintieron afectados por la polémica», finaliza.

The coffee chain reported Sweet & Coffee , via a statement that initiated investigations into the alleged discrimination toward two transgenders who were dismissed from the company days after submission to the Christmas party dressed as women.
