Comerciantes informales buscan el respeto a sus derechos, mientras representantes de la agrupación GLBTI y afroecuatorianos proponen una ordenanza municipal para erradicar la discriminación en Guayaquil. Los vendedores de Lotería aseguran que cuando perdían su mercadería a causa de los decomisos de la guardia municipal, eran perjudicados, pues esta muchas veces se perdía; por ello presentaron una denuncia en la Defensoría del Pueblo.

Lottery vendors claim that their merchandise when they lost because of the seizure of the municipal guard, were injured, as this is often lost, hence filed a complaint with the Ombudsman.
