Ecuador tendrá su primera exposición fotográfica en apoyo a grupos LGBTI.
La Asociación Silueta X en Ecuador inaugurará este fin de semana la exposición fotográfica Tiempos de Igualdad en apoyo a los grupos LGBTI (Lesbianas, Gays, Bisexuales, Transexuales e Intersexuales) del país, la primera de su tipo que se realiza en el territorio ecuatoriano con el objetivo de impulsar acciones concretas a favor de la población de sexo genéricamente diferente en la nación.
Según los organizadores, la muestra también busca sensibilizar sobre el tema a los asistentes y a las personas que no tienen acceso a Internet y frecuentan los espacios públicos.
En un sitio de internet, los responsable del evento comentaron que »nuestra campaña esta enfocada al cambio estructural y paradigmático, que afecta a las poblaciones LGBTI, a través de las posturas conservadoras y fundamentalistas que no permiten el progreso de los derechos humanos».
»Salud, empleo, educación y justicia, son cuatros aspectos básicos que gozan aquellos que se ajustan a las normas hegemónicas de esta sociedad, y que son restadas para aquellos que nos salimos de esa rigidez y demostramos ser diferentes», añadieron.
La Asociación señala además que »como sociedad civil, hemos tomado la iniciativa para impulsar cambios estructurales, haciendo incidencia política y acuerdos con las diferentes instituciones del Estado, así como los actores sociales que se vean implícito en este cambio».
En esta exposición participan diversas organizaciones LGBTI, así también agrupaciones feministas y otras con temáticas diversas, alejadas de los temas de sexualidad, pero cercana a nuestras luchas activistas.
La exhibición será este jueves 27, viernes 28 de febrero y sábado 1 de marzo, en horas de la tarde en el Ágora 2 de la Plaza Cívica del Malecón 2000, frente a la Prefectura del Guayas, en Guayaquil.

Ecuador will have his first photo exhibition in support LGBTI groups.
Silueta X Association in Ecuador this weekend inaugurated the photographic exhibition times Equality support LGBTI ( Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex ) in the country , the first of its kind conducted in the Ecuadorian territory with groups the specific aim of promoting pro- sex population generically different actions in the nation .
According to organizers , the show also aims to raise awareness on the topic to attendees and people who do not have Internet access and frequent public spaces.
On a website , the organizer of the event commented that » our campaign is focused on the structural and paradigmatic change , affecting the LGBTI populations , through the conservative and fundamentalist positions that do not allow the progress of human rights » .
» Health , employment, education and justice are four basic aspects that enjoy those that conform to the hegemonic norms of this society, and are subtracted for those we left we show that rigidity and be different ,» added.
The Association also notes that » as civil society , have taken the initiative to promote structural changes , doing advocacy and agreements with various state institutions and social actors that look implicit in this change .»
In this exhibition involves various LGBTI organizations and feminist groups and also with various other , far removed from issues of sexuality issues, but close to our activists struggles.
The exhibition will be on Thursday 27 , Friday 28 February and Saturday, March 1 , in the afternoon at the Agora 2 Civic Plaza del Malecón 2000, compared to the Guayas Province , Guayaquil .
