Colectivos formalizan queja contra programas de TV.

La Asociación Silueta X plantea un debate sobre los contenidos de tres comedias de producción nacional. Agrupaciones sociales consideran que fomentan la discriminación.

En total, 49 organizaciones y ciudadanos respaldaron con sus firmas la queja legal que entregó la Asociación Silueta X contra los programas de comedia ‘Vivos’, ‘Mi recinto’ y ‘La pareja feliz’, por supuestos contenidos racistas, sexistas y discriminatorios contra la comunidad GLBTI.

Una copia del documento fue entregada en la tarde a la Defensoría del Pueblo en Guayas, mientras el original fue remitido a la Superintendencia de Comunicación (Supercom) vía correo ordinario. En él se detalla el objetivo de la queja, basándose en artículos de la Ley de Comunicación, la Constitución, tratados y leyes internacionales sobre el respeto a los derechos humanos.

Diane Rodríguez, presidenta de la Asociación Silueta X, recordó que la semana pasada, en una reunión con representantes de varias organizaciones, se dio a conocer un borrador del documento, pero en el debate se incluyeron otros aspectos.

Además, se resolvió que hasta el domingo se recibirían insumos para alimentar la queja y ayer se recabaron las firmas de los adherentes.

Indicó que se decidió que, por el momento, la queja sea para los programas de comedias y luego, con un estudio de la Defensoría del Pueblo, se podrá abordar otros espacios, como el contenido de algunos programas de radio o de farándula.

“En esta primera fase solo se solicita a la Supercom que regule los contenidos y no que desaparezcan los programas”, aclaró Rodríguez, tras señalar que el proceso estará a cargo de las dos instituciones.
