‘Silueta X’ no quiere que sancionen a programas de humor.

La presidenta de la asociación Glbti ‘Silueta X’, Diane Rodríguez, dijo que la queja planteada ante la Defensoría del Pueblo y la Superintendencia de Comunicación (Supercom) no persigue la eliminación de las series cómicas ‘Vivos’, ‘La pareja feliz’ y ‘Mi recinto’, sino una mejoría en sus contenidos.

 

“Es una oportunidad para los cómicos de lucirse con formas innovadoras de la comicidad, sin que tenga que ver con estigmas o discriminación por las diferencias de las personas”, dijo la activista a través de un comunicado.
De hecho, según la versión presentada ayer por los colectivos de defensa de derechos ciudadanos que hicieron la denuncia, esta no está dirigida ni siquiera a que la autoridad de control imponga una sanción a los programas, sino a iniciar un proceso para consensuar políticas y protocolos para la producción de programas de televisión.
“No estamos pidiendo acciones punitivas, somos enemigas del punitismo porque no construye nada, hay que trabajar juntos para cambiar la mentalidad y sensibilizar a quienes producen estos programas”, asegura Margarita Carranco, representante del colectivo feminista ‘Nosotras’.
Sin embargo, la situación va tomando un rumbo algo más político, porque ayer, los Consejos de Igualdad, organismos identificados con el Régimen y que incluso tienen un representante en el Consejo de Regulación de la Comunicación, lleno de oficialistas, presentaron otra denuncia formal contra estos y otros programas en la Superintendencia de la Información.

Criterios contrapuestos

Rodríguez aseguró que la Asociación a la que representa “siempre” buscó el diálogo con los actores Víctor Aráuz, Fernando Villarroel, Flor María Palomeque y David Reinoso, pero que ellos nunca respondieron a sus invitaciones.
Sin embargo, la actriz Flor María Palomeque, que forma parte de las producciones ‘Vivos’, ‘La pareja feliz’ y ‘La Mofle’, anunció una reunión con Patricio Barriga, titular de Consejo de Regulación para tratar el tema. La cita será el próximo 13 de mayo en Quito.
Sobre la tesis de Rodríguez, señaló que ahora “cambia de opinión, cuando hasta hace una semana la idea era sacar del aire los programas”. “Incluso hasta el mismo Defensor del Pueblo lo dijo”, aseguró.
Todo el grupo actoral que forma de las series está dispuesto al diálogo; sin embargo, Palomeque señala que el encuentro debe darse después de la cita con el ente regulador y con sus abogados.
“Quizá en el programa ‘Mi recinto’, en ‘La pareja feliz’ o en ‘Vivos’ se está denigrando a algún sector… esto debe ser analizado”, opinó Carranco. Sin embargo, advierte que no permitirán que les utilicen para que se inicie “una cacería de brujas en contra de los medios de comunicación”.
Otra visión

En una entrevista realizada ayer en radio EXA, el abogado Ramiro García aseguró que la principal censura la hace el propio televidente. “Si algo no me gusta, cambio de canal”, dijo.
Sin embargo, Freddy Lobato, representante del colectivo político y de comunicación ‘Igualdad de Derechos’ cree que se trata de una visión errada porque todos los ciudadanos tienen derecho a reclamar respeto a la forma de ser y no seguir fomentando estereotipos.
