Comunidades GLBTI muestran su orgullo con estrategias más visibles.
Diego Celi y Darwin Adrianza serán la tercera pareja de igual sexo en solicitar un turno en el Registro Civil para casarse. Lo harán este lunes en Machala. Pero hoy se presentarán en Guayaquil para participar del Día del Orgullo GLBTI.
Santiago Vinces y Fernando Saltos, y Pamela Troya y Gabriela Correa también estarán en la marcha que saldrá desde la av. Olmedo y Malecón.
Las tres parejas buscan el Matrimonio Civil Igualitario, una campaña que arrancó hace diez meses y que en ese tiempo ha sido un ir y venir de trámites y recursos legales. Un caso está en la tercera instancia, la Corte Constitucional.
¿Cuál es la razón para que más parejas sigan ese camino?
–Los jueces algún rato van a cambiar… Tendrá que llegar un segundo caso, un tercero y así en algún momento se logrará ese derecho… Sí se va a demorar el tema. No es una carrera de velocidad sino de resistencia–, dice Troya. Para ella “un hecho histórico” para dar un paso más fue la sanción lograda en el 2013, ante las autoridades electorales, contra el pastor Nelson Zavala, expresidenciable, por decir que los homosexuales tenían “conductas antinaturales”.
Los transexuales siguen otro camino y apuntan a derechos más básicos:
–A las personas trans todavía nos siguen asesinando. Más bien estamos luchando por el acceso a la vida, a la educación, porque me dejen ir vestida de chica a mi colegio, a mi trabajo. Recién la Prefectura del Guayas incluyó a una persona trans como secretaria, es un primer paso que sirve de ejemplo para entidades públicas y privadas…–, comenta Diane Rodríguez, de la organización Silueta X, cuyo trabajo cobró impulso tras las elecciones del 2013, pues fue candidata a asambleísta.
Ese grupo tiene diálogos con el Gobierno y está a la espera de que se integre la comisión que les ofreció el presidente Rafael Correa en diciembre pasado.
Hace tres semanas desde el régimen se les pidió datos de sus denuncias de asesinatos.
Aunque son partidarios de la unión civil y no del matrimonio, respetan la otra campaña. Y aunque desde ese otro grupo se marca distancia con el régimen, se reconoce que los trans son los más discriminados.
Esta tarde, todos se unirán en su desfile por la lucha que han emprendido, en este último año, con más fuerza.
Pareja insiste en registrar hija
La pareja inglesa Helen Bicknell y Nicola Rothon, que presentó una acción de protección para la inscripción de su hija nacida en Ecuador, insistió ayer a la Corte Constitucional para que se resuelva el caso en última y definitiva instancia.
La acción de protección fue planteada a un juez de primer nivel luego de que el Registro Civil se negara a inscribir con el apellido de las dos a la niña que entonces tenía 4 meses, y que ahora tiene 2 años.
Por ello, se planteó un nuevo escrito en esa Corte, pues a la fecha, la menor no ha podido ser inscrita y alegan que no le reconocen sus derechos.

Couple daughter insists register
