La Asociación Silueta X, es una organización de base, creada el 12 de mayo del 2008, y constituida legalmente el 5 de Mayo del 2010 por el acuerdo Ministerial #9989. Es una Asociación sin fines de lucro cuya misión es la » Lucha por los Derechos Humanos de las personas» TILGB, teniendo como población como meta a las jóvenes, mujeres trangeneros y transexuales. Así mismo trabajamos en Salud Sexual (prevenir el impacto VIH SIDA en el sector Trans. Afectadas, no afectadas y en posible riesgo de enfermedad) y el cuidado del Medio Ambiente.

Ademas, esta iniciativa busca reducir la discriminación que siente la comunidad GLBTI cuando busca acceder a un empleo y a servicios médicos. Según cita la campaña, tras un estudio del 2012 elaborado por Silueta X, se conoció que el 55% de la población transexual percibía inaccesibilidad en los centros de salud, maltrato del personal de enfermería y burlas de los pacientes. Leticia Andrade Espinal es la representante en nuestro cantón, quien manifiesta que esta a las ordenes de todas las personas que necesitan su ayuda.
