Cercanía al Gobierno divide a Glbti.

Su posición frente al Gobierno los divide. Los grupos y activistas Glbti tienen lecturas diferentes sobre el apoyo que la denominada Revolución Ciudadana ha dado para el reconocimiento de sus derechos.

En el Ejecutivo, al parecer, están conscientes de eso. Ayer, el presidente de la República mantuvo un almuerzo de trabajo con la comunidad Glbti, según anunció la Presidencia. Pero era solo un grupo liderado por Diane Rodríguez, representante del colectivo Silueta X.

¿El objetivo? Revisar los acuerdos alcanzados en diciembre. Entre ellos, la investigación de más de 20 asesinatos de transexuales, la promoción de los derechos de diversidad sexual, el reconocimiento de la unión de hecho y el registro de parejas del mismo sexo en la Seguridad Social. Hasta el cierre de esta edición, no hubo un pronunciamiento.

En el otro lado está la Red Glbti Diversidad, que encabeza la iniciativa de matrimonio igualitario. Sus miembros no fueron invitados, pero se pronunciaron. «Independientemente de las organizaciones y activistas que han sido invitados, hacemos un llamado para que estas reuniones tengan como finalidad el compromiso auténtico del Gobierno para mejorar las condiciones de vida de las poblaciones Glbti y el reconocimiento de todos nuestros derechos».

El documento, firmado por Pamela Troya (quien lucha para que el Registro Civil oficialice su matrimonio con Gabriela Correa), hace un recuento de las deudas que el Gobierno tiene con este sector. Menciona el reconocimiento de la unión de hecho y el matrimonio igualitario, la inscripción de hijos(as) de parejas del mismo sexo, la clausura de centros clandestinos de «curación» y el reconocimiento de la identidad trans.
