TILGB se reúnen con la Ministra de Justicia

La Asociación TILGB (Trans, intersex, lesbianas, gays y bisexuales) Silueta X, dentro del marco del acuerdo #21525 con el Ejecutivo, mantuvo una reunión con la Ministra de Justicia Derechos Humanos y Cultos Ledy Zúñiga, que tuvo lugar el pasado 02 de abril del 2015. En dicha reunión se entregó el “Informe del acceso a la justicia y los derechos humanos para el Sumak Kawsay de los TILGB”, el cual recoge actos de discriminación violencia y asesinatos durante el 2014.

En este sentido la Ministra nos informó que dará seguimiento a los casos y nos informarán en qué etapa se encuentran. Se planteó un proceso de sensibilización al personal que labora cercano a las personas privadas de la libertad, sobre orientación sexual e identidad de género, cuya finalidad es ofrecer las garantías necesarias, reduciendo de esta manera actos que podrían afectar la integridad de los TILGB.

Adicional a esto, la Ministra propuso otro proceso de sensibilización que tiene que ver específicamente con las poblaciones de la diversidad sexual y que cuyo cronograma tentativo se desarrollaría en días posteriores.

TILGB meets with the Minister of Justice

The TILGB Association (Trans, intersex, lesbian, gay and bisexual) Silhouette X, within the framework of the agreement # 21525 with the executive, met with the Minister of Justice Human Rights and Religious Ledy Zúñiga, which took place on 02 April 2015. At that meeting the «Report of access to justice and human rights for Sumak Kawsay of TILGB» which includes acts of discrimination, violence and killings during 2014 was delivered.

In this regard the Minister informed us that will track cases and inform us what stage they are. An awareness process the personnel working nearby persons deprived of liberty, sexual orientation and gender identity, which aims to provide the necessary guarantees, thereby reducing acts that could affect the integrity of the TILGB was raised.
In addition to this, the Minister proposed another sensitization process that deals specifically with people of sexual diversity and tentatively schedule would develop in later days.
