TRANS MUERE POR EFECTOS DE LA ESCOPOLAMINA TRAS INTENTO DE ROBO

La Asociación Silueta X, a través del Observatorio de Justicia y Derechos Humanos para el Sumak Kawsay de los TILGB (Trans, intersex, lesbianas, gays y bisexuales), SOLICITA a las autoridades pertinentes esclarecer el fallecimiento de Katty (Byron Flores Correa).

Declaraciones de amigos y familiares indican que el domingo 26 de abril del 2015, dos jóvenes con quienes libaban ingresaron a su casa ubicada en el Guasmo Sur, Av. Las Esclusas y la escopolaminaron con el fin de robarle en su domicilio. Estuvo mal los siguientes días. La llevaron a Infectología pero les indicaron que tenían que llevarla a otro hospital. En una casa de asistencia la estabilizaron temporalmente. Sin embargo, el lunes 04 de mayo de 2015 calló en estado crítico, posterior en coma y deja de existir a través de un paro cardiaco en el hospital Luis Vernaza de Guayaquil, quienes ya la habían desahuciado.

Este observatorio, solicita a las autoridades pertinentes levantar las investigaciones necesarias para dar con los presuntos culpables, puesto que no es el primer caso. En lo que va del año 2015, se han presentado seis asesinatos y muertes no esclarecidas contra las poblaciones TILGB, dos de hombre gays y cuatro de personas trans femeninas.
