Primer mandatario se reune con los GLBTI.

Quito.-Luego de la reunión que mantuvieron los representantes de los grupos GLBTI y el Presidente Rafael Correa, se lograron los siguienes compromisos:

1.- Realizar comisión gubernamental para dar seguimiento a los asesinatos expuestos al primer mandatario. Se encontraron 20 asesinatos en el Informe del Acceso a la Justicia y los Derechos Humanos TILGB de los cuales 15, fueron a ciudadanas transexuales.

2.- Promoción mediática de los Derechos Diversidad sexual consagrados en la constitución de la República del Ecuador.

3.- Formación de Servidores públicos en Diversidad Sexual.

4.- Establecimiento de procedimientos en las instituciones públicas que garanticen los derechos actualmente consagrados en la constitución de la República del Ecuador, ejemplo: El sistema del IESS que no permite el registro de parejas del mismo sexo, o el Sistema del Registro civil que no registra las uniones de hecho.

5.- Compromiso para revisar las Leyes enviadas a la Asamblea en Salud, Educación, Empleo, COIP y Consejos de Igualdad

6.- Compromiso para la Revisión de las Reformas a la ley del Registro civil en Materia de Identidad de Género.

Esta reunión en su conjunto con los acuerdos, se consagra como emblemática e Histórica a nivel del Ecuador en la que un grupo de personas y referentes de la comunidad GLBTI, han tenido un acercamiento, dialogo, acuerdo y consenso con un primer mandatario.

President meets with GLBTI.

Quito.-After the meeting between the representatives of the LGBTI groups and President Rafael Correa, the siguienes commitments were achieved:

1 -. Contents governmental commission to monitor the murders exposed to president. 20 murders were found in the Report of the Access to Justice and Human Rights TILGB of which 15 were to transgender citizens.

2 – Media Advocacy of sexual diversity rights enshrined in the constitution of the Republic of Ecuador.

. 3 – Training of public servants in Sexual Diversity.

. 4 – Establishment of procedures in public institutions that guarantee the rights now enshrined in the constitution of the Republic of Ecuador, such as: IESS system that does not allow the registration of same-sex couples, or civil registry system that no registered domestic partnerships.

5 – Commitment to Review Laws submitted to the Assembly on Health, Education, Employment, Equal COIP and Advice

. 6 – Commitment to Reforms: Review of civil registry law in Respect Gender Identity.

The meeting as a whole with the agreements enshrined as iconic and Historic Ecuador level in which a group of persons concerning the GLBTI community, have had an approach, dialogue, agreement and consensus a president.
