Yamileth es la líder y mánager de la primera agrupación musical “trans” del país

La tecnocumbia tiene el sabor de Las Diosas del Deseo

Debutaron en el 2000 en un bingo y desde ese momento han recorrido el país. Grabaron tres cds.

Lo que se inició con una simple charla en pocos días se convirtió en realidad. En el 2000 Yamileth Soto, una “trans” dedicaba a la costura, recibió la visita de su amiga Michelle, quien seducida por su melodiosa voz le propuso formar un grupo de música tecnocumbia.

La idea parecía descabellada. Michelle convenció a Yamileth diciéndole que a más de ser la líder y vocalista de la agrupación, ella podía confeccionar los vestuarios de las artistas.

“Le dije a mi amiga que lo pensaría, pero al volver otro día me indicó que el grupo ya estaba armado y que no había marcha atrás. Solo teníamos que buscar el nombre, algo corto”, recordó Yamileth, de 24 años, quien es la voz principal y mánager del primer grupo transexual de tecnocumbia del Ecuador.

El nombre Las Diosas del Deseo surgió de Yamileth. “A todas mis compañeras les gustó y nos quedamos con ese nombre”.

Hace dos meses la agrupación pensó en cambiar el nombre por el de Pura Seducción, pero todavía no se  define. Las chicas creen que es más llamativo.
La organización musical está integrada por Sayoa de los Santos, Raiza Silva, Michelle, Kasandra y Viviana Ronquillo, Michaela Solórzano y Yamileth.
En estos diez años este grupo de “trans” femeninas ha grabado tres discos compactos (cds) y han recorrido el país presentándose en diferentes eventos de belleza de la comunidad Glbti (Gays, Lesbianas, Bisexuales, Transexuales e Intersexuales).

SU PRIMERA ACTUACIÓN
El debut de estas chicas “trans” fue durante un bingo bailable que se realizó en la casa de Yamileth. “Hablamos con el coordinador del bingo, le comentamos sobre nuestro grupo y el nos dio la oportunidad”, manifestó la vocalista.

Ese día, luego de elegir los trajes que utilizarían en la presentación, las “trans” subieron a la tarima para deleitar al público. No faltaron los nervios y ansiedad por el estreno. “Les dije a las chicas que respiraran profundo, que todo saldría bien”, agregó.

Esa presentación es considerada como su “patadita de la buena suerte”, ya que desde ese momento no paran de hacer bailar a la gente con sus ritmos.
La popularidad de las “trans” creció y hoy atienden compromisos en diferentes cantones y zonas rurales de país donde son aclamadas. “Le hemos demostrado al púbico que no solamente tenemos derecho a tener un cuerpo esbelto, sino a demostrar nuestro talento”, señaló Yamileth, quien combina esta profesión con la atención de clientes en su gabinete de belleza.

SU PRÍNCIPE AZUL
A más de la música, la costura y la peluquería, Yamileth también se da tiempo para amar. Asegura haber conocido a su “príncipe azul”, con quien tiene tres años de relación. “Me considero una chica ‘trans’ afortunada”.

Está comprometida con un vendedor de muebles, quien la acompaña en sus recorridos artísticos.  Yamileth viaja con frecuencia a Argentina para visitar a una amiga, quien la nutre de nuevas ideas para las presentaciones del grupo.

What started with a simple chat in a few days became reality. In 2000 Yamileth Soto, a «trans» engaged in sewing, was visited by her friend Michelle, who seduced by her melodious voice proposed forming a band tecnocumbia.

The idea seemed preposterous. Yamileth Michelle convinced him that in addition to being the lead singer of the group, she could make the costumes of the artists.

«I told my friend that I would think, but I come back another day and said the group was armed and there was no going back. Just had to find the name, something short, «he recalled Yamileth, 24, who is the lead singer and manager of the first group of Ecuador tecnocumbia transsexual.

The name of Desire Goddesses Yamileth emerged. «To all my friends liked it and stayed with that name.»

Two months ago the group thought about changing the name to Pure Seduction, but still not defined. The girls think it is more striking.

Her Prince Charming
In addition to music, sewing and hairdressing, Yamileth also given time to love. He claims to have met her «Prince Charming» with whom he has three years of relationship. «I am a girl ‘trans’ lucky’.
