¡Cinco trans a las pasarelas de Modelaje!

Dueño de academia las dejará “papelito”, como todas unas profesionales.

Cinco chicas transgéneras de la fundación Silueta X, por su simpatía y donaire, fueron las ganadoras de becas para estudiar en la academia de alto modelaje de Rodrigo Moreira.

Diane Rodríguez, Maité Trejo, Kelly Párraga, María Sol Mite y Emily Méndez están emocionadas. Tres de ellas contaron cómo se les abrieron las puertas tras salir en EXTRA, en varios reportajes de la serie Belleza Trans.

Desde este sábado en la tarde las jóvenes entrarán a las aulas donde no solo recibirán clases de modelaje para ropa, sino también para televisión.

REÚNEN EL PERFIL

“Me enteré a través de un amigo que Maité Trejo quería estudiar modelaje, tomé contacto con ella y me pareció simpática y con aptitudes”, señaló Rodrigo Moreira, el dueño de la academia.

“Vi las fotos que tomó Wlado y que publicaron en EXTRA, me parecieron espectaculares. Ellas tienen el perfil”, indicó.

Moreira se graduó a los 16 años en la escuela de Cecilia Niemes. Hoy a sus 28 años cuenta con dos escuelas; la una ubicada en Milagro, y la otra en Guayaquil. “No son exclusivas para trans. Pero la persona tiene que reunir el perfil de una modelo, hablamos de figura, cabello, rostro y donaire. Van a recibir clases de etiqueta, casting, televisión, desarrollo de la personalidad, fotografía, etc.

Creo que esto va a marcar un mito en la historia. Va a ser una noticia a nivel internacional”, expresó.

“SOÑABA CON SER MODELO”

Diane, presidenta de Silueta X, no paró de sonreír durante la entrevista, confesó que soñaba caminar por las pasarelas, pero por el temor al rechazo prefirió no tocar las puertas de las escuelas que hay.

Agregó que fue Maité que tuvo contacto con Rodrigo Moreira. “Él se sensibilizó al ver que no teníamos un lugar donde estudiar. Nos dio becas a cinco compañeras de la organización”, señaló Rodríguez, quien estudia sicología de la Universidad Estatal de Guayaquil.

“Es la primera academia que nos da apertura. En este caso fue el propio dueño, quien se acercó para que nos integremos”, señaló la presidente de Silueta X.
“Siempre quise ser modelo y cuando iba a alguna academia para intentar matricularme, me hacían pito, o me decían: ¡Ah, pero es transexual!, luego me negaban el ingreso o la beca”, manifestó Maité. (GSI)

Las primeras modelos trans

“Para mí es un gusto que hayamos sido elegidas. Espero que cuando desfilemos por las pasarelas la gente nos reconozca no como transexuales, sino como profesionales y por nuestros nombres. Queremos ser las primeras modelos transgéneros del país”.

“Me alegra estudiar en una academia que no es exclusivamente para transexuales, donde voy a tener compañeros mujeres y hombres. Además, me agrada que un nombre me respalde. Siempre he querido esto”, señaló Kelly Párraga.

Las becas otorgadas a estas chicas han causado emoción colectiva en la comunidad trans en el Ecuador. Muchas son las que quieren ingresar al centro, pero de seguro no todas tendrán el perfil.

MEET THE PROFILE

«I heard through a friend who wanted to study modeling Maite Trejo, I contacted her and found it nice and skills,» said Rodrigo Moreira, owner of the academy.

«I dreamed of being MODEL»

Diane, president of Silueta X, did not stop smiling during the interview, he confessed he dreamed of walking the catwalk, but the fear of rejection preferred not to knock on doors of schools out there.

He said he was Maite who had contact with Rodrigo Moreira. «He was sensitized to see that we did not have a place to study. We gave scholarships to five partners of the organization, «said Rodriguez, who studied psychology at the State University of Guayaquil.
