REUNIÓN CON ASESOR DEL MINISTERIO DE LA GESTIÓN DE LA POLÍTICA.

El viernes 26 de septiembre del presente año se reúne el Sr. Asesor Subsecretario Político Patricio Baquerizo con la Srta. Presidenta de Silueta X Diane Rodríguez Zambrano, para dialogar sobre las reformas a la ley del registro civil en Materia de Identidad de género.

Se introduce a SILUETA X, como una ONG. Que trabaja por la garantía de los derechos humanos de las poblaciones GLBTI, así como las cerca de 20 organizaciones trans que conforman el Pacto Trans. Las organizaciones que han conformado el Pacto Trans, no solicitan derechos que estén fuera del margen constitucional.

Las reuniones mantenidas con el Ejecutivo han sido enfocadas en temas que al ejercicio de ponderación de derechos son los inminentes, como por ejemplo los asesinatos impunes. Adicional a esto, efectivamente cuando colectivos GLBTI se reunieron con el Sr. Presidente el 13 de diciembre del 2013 y el 18 de agosto del 2014, expusimos la Unión de hecho y por su puesto las reformas a la ley del registro civil en materia de identidad de género, y es justamente por esto es que se ha desatado toda esta coyuntura.

Lo puntual con respecto al acercamiento que deseamos realizar con la Ministra, es que el Sr. Presidente manifestó en esta segunda ocasión, que revisaría a profundidad el tema de las reformas a la ley del registro civil.

Volvemos a insistir que SILUETA X y las organizaciones trans que conformamos el pacto trans, trabajamos por los derechos y garantías que no se están reconociendo.

Patricio Baquerizo indica a lo expuesto: Estimada Diane, quiero dejar en claro que mi presencia aquí, es justamente porque a la Gestión de la Política, le interesan estos temas, efectivamente porque ustedes son poblaciones vulnerables. Adicional, a la sintonía con el actual gobierno, nos parece importante que estos hechos que se suscitan, sean también conocidos directamente por la Ministra.

En lo que respecta a mi trabajo, he sido enviado para que en esta reunión se me exponga lo que me acabo de mencionar. En este sentido, reitero que nuestra participación como Gestión de la Política en apoyo a las solicitudes de grupos vulnerables como ustedes siempre estará abierta. Al momento tendré que desarrollar un informe, a base de su ayuda memoria, con el cual podré poner a disposición de la Ministra lo dialogado en esta reunión. Como asesor, me aseguraré de transmitir todo lo dicho, para que tenga los resultados esperados.

Estaremos en contacto a través de los datos que intercambiemos y por su puesto coordinaremos fecha para que se concrete dicha solicitud con la Ministra de la Gestión de la Política.

De esta forma, se cierra este espacio de reunión, donde queda establecido lo dialogado y acordado, luego de una hora de dialogo mantenido.

ADVISORY MEETING WITH MINISTER OF MANAGEMENT POLICY.

On Friday September 26th of this year Deputy Political Advisor Mr. Patricio Baquerizo meets with Miss. President Silueta X Diane Rodriguez Zambrano, to discuss reforms to the law of civil registration Stuff Gender Identity.

It introduces SILUETA X, as an NGO. That works to ensure human rights of LGBTI populations, as well as about 20 trans organizations that comprise the Trans Covenant. Organizations that have shaped the Trans Covenant rights are not applying outside the constitutional margin.

Meetings with the Executive have been focused on issues that the exercise of balancing of rights are imminent, such as the unpunished murders. In addition to this, when actually GLBTI groups met with the President on December 13, 2013 and August 18, 2014, exposed the fact Union and of course the reforms to the law on civil registration identity gender, and it is precisely for this is that this whole situation has been unleashed.

The point regarding the approach that we want to make to the Minister, is that the President said on this second occasion, would review in depth the issue of reforms to the law of civil registration.

We reemphasize that SILUETA X and transgender organizations that make up the trans pact, working for the rights and guarantees that are not being recognized.

Patricio tells Baquerizo grounds: Dear Diane, I want to make clear that my presence here is precisely because the Policy Management, we are interested in these issues, because you are indeed vulnerable. Additional, in tune with the current government, it seems important that these events arise, are also directly known to the Minister.

With regard to my work, I have been sent to me in this meeting I expose what I just mentioned. In this regard, I reiterate that our participation as Policy Management in support of applications for vulnerable groups like you will always be open. When I have to develop a report based on your cheat sheet, with which I can make available to the Minister I dialogued at this meeting. As a consultant, I’ll make sure to convey all this, to have the expected results.

We will be in contact through the data we exchange and of course arrange date for its concrete application to the Minister for Policy Management.

Thus, this meeting space where I dialogued is established and agreed upon, then an hour of dialogue remained closed.
