Diane Marie Rodríguez Zambrano, presidenta de la Asociación Silueta X, habría recibido amenazas e intimidación por parte de desconocidos.

Según las denuncias presentadas en la Fiscalía, el 18 de agosto y el 30 de septiembre del 2014, cuatro personas llegaron a las oficinas de la Asociación Silueta X en Guayaquil para, en forma amenazante, exigir entrevistarse con Rodríguez y uno de ellos evidenció estar armado. El 20 de octubre del 2014, señala la afectada, recibió un mensaje que revelaba la forma en que la han estado siguiendo y la descripción macabra de mutilar sus partes íntimas.
