En referencia a la comunicación recibida el día 17 de junio de 2015 en el que el Proyector Transgénero, La Asociación Silueta X y el colectivo de Trans Masculinos del Ecuador solicitan al Ministerio de Salud Pública se inicie el procedimiento para la realización de Mastectomías como prevención de cáncer de mama, debo informar que el Ministerio de Salud, ha realizado el respectivo análisis basado en evidencia científica y se concluye que no se puede ofrecer este procedimiento. Referring to the communication received on June 17, 2015 in which the projector Transgender, Silueta X Association and the group of Trans Male from Ecuador requested the Ministry of Public Health the procedure for the realization of mastectomies starts as prevention breast cancer, I must report that the Ministry of Health, made the respective analysis based on scientific evidence and concludes that it can not provide this procedure.
